MORE THAN HOOKED, MANY SAY THAT AFTER JUST ONE VISIT LLOYD LAKE IS IN THEIR BLOOD.

With fresh air, unspoiled waters, and fresh food served alongside Canadian hospitality, Lloyd Lake Lodge has one goal: making sure each guest has a fishing trip they’ll never forget.

Nestled in nature along miles of secluded shoreline, our world-class fishing lodge welcomes you with a perfectly balanced atmosphere of comfort, wilderness, and locally inspired cuisine.

Hike the trails and pick fresh berries, then literally fish for that evening’s dinner off the dock. After a good day of fishing and food, enjoy a hand of poker with your friends or shoot some pool. Tell stories around the blazing fire or gaze at the millions of stars.

The Fishing

WE’VE GOT BIG FISH,
AND LOTS OF ‘EM.

Northern pike, walleye, lake trout, and Arctic grayling—fish for your freshwater grand slam from our incomparable location in northern Saskatchewan. Learn more about our lakes, species and why fishing here is unlike any place else.

The Food

YOU HAVEN’T DINED
LIKE THIS BEFORE.

Derrick, Lloyd Lake’s executive chef (former contestant on Chopped Canada and culinary arts teacher!), is one of the owners. His favourite word is fresh. Forget typical camp-style fare—Chef Derrick will treat you to a modern twist on an authentically northern cuisine. Each meal, unique in its own right, integrates fresh, flavourful, and high-quality ingredients locally sourced whenever possible.

Breakfast

When the day is young, head to the main lodge for steaming hot coffee. You’ll be greeted with a hearty breakfast that will provide you the necessary energy to pull in fish all morning. Breakfast times are flexible, but most guests are anticipating the thrill of the morning bite and want to be off the dock by 8:00 AM.

Lunch

It’s a shore thing. Lloyd Lake shore lunches are legendary—in fact, we hear our guests say they wait all year for this lunch! After a successful morning on the water, we’ll bring your boat ashore on one of our pristine, sandy beaches. Choose to relax or roll up your sleeves as we prepare the morning’s catch over an open fire in the tastiest, freshest way possible. Of course, we eat northern al fresco style, right there in your own private wilderness.

Dinner

Evening meals are for savouring appetizers, main-course entrees, and mouth-watering desserts as we exchange stories from our day on the water. For those interested in learning more about cooking and cuisine, Lloyd Lake Lodge offers an optional culinary vacation with fishing and cooking classes to transfer this tastiness to your own kitchen. Every evening, you’ll feast your eyes and taste buds!

Beyond Fishing

MAKE LLOYD LAKE
LODGE YOURS.

Leisure time is yours to expand the experience of Lloyd Lake into whatever you’d like it to be. Did we mention the wild blueberry crop just begging to be picked from mid-August onwards? Or the white sand beaches and clear water beckoning you to jump right in on a hot July day, perhaps with a side of freshwater clam picking? Then there’s the moose, black bears, bald eagles, loons, and even wolves waiting to surprise you as you round the bends in the river in one of the lodge’s comfortable boats, or perhaps on a hike to Big Fish Lake. Enjoy spectacular views of the soaring northern lights on September nights. Napping, reading a book on your private cabin’s deck, more fishing—we’re ready to help you make the trip into the perfect experience for you.

Accommodations

Like our people, our accommodations are welcoming.

Each cabin is bright, comfortable, modern, and spotless. Here’s what to expect:

  • 6 guest cabins that sleep between 2 and 6 people (we set a maximum of 12 people at time for the highest quality guest experience)
  • Each group gets their own cabin
  • Each cabin has its own bathroom and also a deck overlooking Lloyd Lake
  • Full bathrooms with new showers and (hot!) running water • Comfortable beds with crisp, white linen
AMENITIES + EQUIPMENT

Here, we have the best. Sixteen-foot Lund SSV boats line our dock. Our fishing gear is top-of-the-line, and each cabin has its own YETI cooler. The generators we use are the quietest and most efficient you can find because, silence. While our guests know they’re safe and comfortable with top-quality items, the “stuff” we have is here for one reason: to help people get to the important part of their trip. Listen to the call of a loon, hear the water lap the shoreline, make and and tell stories. Everything is to help you fully disconnect in these surroundings.

Besides upgraded docks, safety equipment, side-by-sides, and renovated cabins, Lloyd Lake Lodge is also known as the Piece of Peace Conference Centre. We’ve configured the rec hall to double as a conference cabin. Facilities include audio-visual equipment, high-speed satellite internet, and a wi-fi network for your convenience.

Whether you’re planning a conference, reunion, or simple getaway, we can seamlessly accommodate your guests!
